The Proteus II 5mm is one of the highest-performing wetsuits available and the benchmark for thermal protection in its class. Engineered for serious divers, this suit delivers outstanding warmth, durability, and eco-conscious construction—ideal for extended dives in cooler waters.

Constructed with greener limestone neoprene and Eco Carbon Black made from recycled rubber tyres, each suit reduces CO₂ emissions by approximately 200g. Additionally, water-based Aqua-X glues are used throughout lamination and assembly, eliminating harmful substances from the manufacturing process.

The Proteus II 5mm features the Hydrolock inner neck seal, Glideskin wrist seals, and internal PU ankle seals to effectively minimize water ingress and offer a semi-dry seal. Double-glued, blind-stitched, and taped seams ensure long-lasting waterproof performance, while Hexcore lining on the torso and Thermoflex lining across the rest of the suit deliver targeted insulation exactly where you need it most.

This updated version improves on the classic Proteus design with a better fit and easier donning—without compromising thermal performance.

Recycled Rubber

One of the key ingredients of neoprene, Eco Carbon Black, is recycled by our wetsuit factory from post-consumer scrap tyres. This significantly reduces energy consumption and cuts CO2 emissions by 200g per wetsuit.
Limestone Neoprene

During the neoprene production process, limestone is used to replace petrochemicals to form rubber chips. You achieve the same performance as traditional neoprene, but with way less environmental impact.
Resources

After the neoprene creation process, the redundant trimmed materials will be recycled and reused in the mixing process to produce more neoprene sheets. Overall huge amounts of raw materials are saved, energy consumption is reduced and waste water and air emissions are minimised during production.
